Lyra and Will

This is an unfinished piece portraying Lyra and Will from the Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman. They were going to be looking up at the dragonflies and a blue hawk against the sky. Tialys was going to be on Wills shoulder and Salmakia grabbing Lyra's collar. I like it, but I feel there are just too many problems with this picture to keep going, so I have a new one depicting this scene in the works. This one really helped me get a feel for it though and I think it's good as a colour test
